This is for my Sarah Beth. An account of her daily adventures and discoveries.

As we were leaving the mall today Sarah asked for some ice cream.  We walked over to the stand and I picked her up and she immediately zeroed in on an ice cream called Superhero.  Imagine Superman, The Incredibles and Wonder Women all swirled together.  That's what this ice cream looked like, with an enphasis on the bright blue.  The tired and harassed looking man behind the counter asked what I wanted.  I replied, "A very small cup of the Superhero."  He started to scoop and BAM! Sarah starts yelling at him.  "I want blue, give me blue, nooooooo, give me BLUE!"  Before I could react, he looks up with actual fright in his eyes and dumps the cup and starts over again.  I apologize profusely for my rude child and then turn to Sarah and inform her that she can either calm down or we leave without the ice cream.  She calms down, says she sorry and Miss Sarah Sweet Smiles comes back. She gets her ice cream, starts eating it and a cute little old lady walks up and says, "Oh my word, I have never seen ice cream that color before."  She asks Sarah what flavor it was.  With a mouthful of ice cream Sarah responds, "Superhero!"  The lady laughs, shakes her head and walks away.  I pay and apologize again and we leave.  As soon as we walked in the door, Sarah marched up to her room and stood looking at her bright, blue tongue in the mirror for at least 15 minutes, giggling the whole time.
