This is for my Sarah Beth. An account of her daily adventures and discoveries.

Sarah had her first visit with the dentist today.  I was  very nervous about it.  Garrett met us there and the staff was very nice.  They changed the tv for her and she got to watch cartoons.  I think that really helped mellow her out and then we went back with the dental tech.  She was very nice to Sarah.  She managed to take an xray of Sarah's tooth without any trouble and Sarah was very well behaved when the dentist finally looked at her tooth.  She doesn't have a cavity but the dentist explained that new teeth can sometimes come in malformed and in Sarah's case her upper canine tooth has a little pit in it and that collects food and stuff and it can turn into a cavity.  He recommended that it be filled but not today.  He said she did so well that we should leave her with a good impression of a dentist visit and then try again in 2 weeks.  I'm so relieved it went well and that it seems we found a dentist that's friendly, patient and understands children.  I'll let you know how it goes in 2 weeks.
