Way back in the 70's I wanted a Dorothy Hamill haircut. I never got it. Instead I got a shag and looked like a boy. By the time my hair grew out and got long enough to have a Dorothy Hamill hairdo it was considered dorky and so uncool. So, I never got it. Until now!!!! Kinda sorta. Sarah and I got our haircut today. She got the Dorothy Hamill and I got a trim. She looks so cute! It came out just so perfect. She looks even more pixieish now. I'd love to find an elf-like outfit just because she would look so darn sweet.
After our haircuts we went and visited Annemarie and baby Alexander. Sarah played with Maggie dog, her best canine friend and then we all went out to lunch and then the mall. Sarah did have a mini-tantrum in the Disney store. She found all the Disney dolls and went nuts. She grabbed Ariel, Cinderella and another one and started running. I managed to grab/tackle her and informed her that, "Mommy would not be buying those dolls for her today." An Oscar winning performance ensued and then I picked her up and had a little discussion/calming down session with her outside the store. She recovered nicely and we managed to go back in without further incident. What she doesn't know is that Auntie Annmarie bought her one of the dolls for her birthday. What a brat!
