This is for my Sarah Beth. An account of her daily adventures and discoveries.

For Noni
This next story may not make sense to many people but I have to include it because it proves just how much personality traits are affected by genes. There's a funny family story that goes like this. Years ago when Garrett and Scott were youngsters, Norma (Noni),and the boys were on a driving trip. They were passing through some little country town and passed a "Deer Crossing" sign. Norma turned to the boys and said, "Dear Crossing, how are you today. We're just fine. etc,... Apparently, Norma thought it was hilarious and the boys realized that their mom was a little weird. (we still love ya Norm) Anyhoo, I share this story with you because of something Sarah said the other day which reminded me of this story and made me realize just how much your genetic material affects your personality. Sarah and I were looking at a new I Spy book we just bought. One of the clues included a deer. So, I said, "I spy a deer" and Sarah turned to me with a smile on her face and said, "Oh dear!" and she busted out laughing. Enough said.
