As I was getting Sarah's clothes ready yesterday she ran into the room and said, "Mom, I want to wear my dazzling new dress."  I didn't have a clue what dress she was referring to and I was completely baffled by the fact that she knew the word dazzling.  So, I asked her to point out this dazzling new dress and she picked out a very sheer summer dress and since it was cool out yesterday I put the nix on that one.  I looked around for another dress that she hadn't worn yet and that would be warm enough for the day.  I came upon a treasure.  My mother crocheted a dress for Sarah before she was even born.  Now, while I think the dress is very pretty, the color just reminds me too much of an Easter Pink Peep.  Knowing Sarah's propensity for picking out the unusual when she makes her own clothing choices I showed it to her.  She loved it.  I finished the dazzling new look with her silverish strappy sandals.  She was a hit.  The young women at the Y, that watch her, want one in their sizes.
