I've written about this subject before but it still amazes me and makes me chuckle. We have Big Alex with us today and he was here yesterday afternoon too. He and Sarah have been doing more interactive play. Yesterday Sarah wanted me to put in Sleeping Beauty. I said, "No", because I was going to take the kids upstairs for reading time and then naptime. I just had to finish up the blogs I was writing. She was a little upset, but she likes reading time and she recovered her composure quickly. To pass the time she and Alex started playing with the dollhouse and then, after a few minutes, it got very quiet. I glanced over my shoulder and Sarah was lying on the couch and Alex was standing by her. I think they were acting out Sleeping Beauty. Well, at least I think Sarah was, and Alex was trying to figure out if Sarah had fallen asleep or if she was hurt. She kept trying to get him to kiss her, so she could awaken from the evil witches spell, you know.  He wasn't really getting the concept.  Boys, they have no imagination!  In any case, it was a very cute scene. 

Today, Sarah and Alex were playing together, when all of a sudden, she yells out, "Aggali, you will never bring your family honor!  You are a disgrace!"  For those not prilvileged to have watched this movie a thousand and one times, that is a line from Mulan.  Luckily, Alex seems fairly unaffected by Sarah's ranting that he is a disgrace.  What will she think of doing next.  It's always a mystery.
