Sarah loves a good party and she got to go to two this weekend.  Saturday morning was her little friend Aiden's birthday and Saturday afternoon was Christmas In July at Rhonda and Brandon's (Big Alex parents).  Aiden had Chuckles the Clown there.  As far as clowns go he was very good, not creepy and entertaining. He made awesome ballon animals and did some great face painting.  Sarah enjoyed herself immensely and she managed not get into any fights, and no tantrums.  Woohoo!  She and Cole did get a bit rowdy with their balloon swords but it was all good fun.  Chrismas in July is a pool party.  We were one of the first to arrive and Sarah was ready to show off her new swimming skills.  I managed to stop her jumping into the pool with her shoes on.  She was a swimming maniac.  She kept pushing her noodle away and diving after people.  We had to remove her from the pool several times so she could calm down and catch her breath.  All her favorite people were there and she made a few new friends and there was even a pinata.  We did get a brief but crazy downpour of rain, but the party kept going on.  We stayed until 8pm, an hour before Sarah's normal bedtime, we got her home, dried and changed and halfway into her bedtime book she fell asleep (that never happens).  She slept until 7 am, another rare occurance.  In conclusion, a good time was had by all.
