This is for my Sarah Beth. An account of her daily adventures and discoveries.

Don't you hate it when one of your usual reprimands comes out of your child's mouth back at you. The other day I asked Sarah to pick up her toys and by the 3rd reminder I had raised my voice to her and she turns to me and says, "Mom, that just wasn't very nice." Then, the other day I was driving and mumbled something not quite so proper about another driver and Sarah spoke up and said, "You shouldn't be using that word Mom." I think the one that took the cake was an incident in which Sarah kept asking me for treats. I refused her request because she hadn't eaten her lunch. She kept asking, bugging, demanding and finally I very sternly told her, "No!" She looked at me with sad, puppy dog eyes and said, "You need to be a good Mommy." Talk about ripping ones heart out and putting it on a platter.  I'm not sure I can handle having a child that is so well verbally versed.
