I forgot to mention another precious moment that happened with Sarah this past weekend. On the 4th we had Mike, Annmarie and baby Alexander over for a BBQ. Baby Alex was a little crabby and I was holding him during dinner, so mom and dad could eat in peace. Sarah hadn't had a nap, she had had a busy day and it was getting on into the evening hours. I make mention of all these things as a caveat for her behavior. Oh, who am I kidding, she's a brat. This is what she did. She wandered over to me and stopped, looked up and said, "Mom, get that baby out of your arms. Up, up!" Sarah doesn't say, "Please pick me up." She has always said, "Up, up!" I guess our little baby-loving, mother-hen Sarah has a bit of a jealous side.
