Sarah's speech for the most part is very good and her vocabulary is outstanding.  Every now and then, though, she has a few things in which she has just such a way of saying that are too cute.  Lately, it's been how she sings "Where is Thumpkin".  When she gets to the ...how are you today sir...it sounds almost like...haggis are you now sir.  And, at the part of...come and play...it sounds like...go away... but she's been correctly herself there lately.  The other day I bought her some M&M's.  She LOVES M&M's.  (All of our neighbors know this because at the Westlund's New Year's Eve party, that is all Sarah would eat.  She was so busy playing and running around that she wouldn't sit or stand for a minute at a time.  She would grab some as she flew past the food table on every pass.  She had so many in fact that she just stopped at one point, and looked up at me and Garrett, cried out, and then barfed all over her dress.  Anyway, I digress.)  She calls M&M's... lemonades.  She kept asking me for lemonades last night and I kept telling her we didn't have any lemonade.  She got so upset with me that she came stomping over, grabbed my hand and dragged me to the bowl where Garrett had stashed them away from her.  She got some lemonades...I mean M&M's.

She's getting to be such a big girl.  It was bath night last night and sometimes, after bath, I let her paint her nails.  It's this Disney's Princess Glitter Clear nailpolish.  It's practically invisible and washes right off but, she gets a huge kick from using it.  At first, Garrett or I would paint her nails.  Then, she graduated to doing them herself.  Now, she even paints her toenails.  I watched her carefully bending over, stretching out her toes and very precisely (for a 3 yr. old) applying the polish.  It was a sight to see.  I just got this vision of things to come.  It hit me pretty hard.  She's going to be such a beautiful, funny, intelligent, independent, stubborn young woman.
